A massive 765-kilovolt (kV) transmission line project is proposed to run through the Killeen area, specifically targeting East Bell County as part of a 200-mile, $15 billion+ plan to connect the Permian Basin to Central Texas. Developed by LCRA Transmission Services Corporation and Oncor.
